Getting Started
Q: How do I create a group?

A: Tap the Groups tab, then tap the "+" button. Give your group a name and description, then share the invite code with friends.

Q: How do I join a group?

A: Ask a group member for the invite code, then tap "Join Group" in the Groups tab and enter the code.

Q: Can I leave a group?

A: Yes, go to the group's detail page and tap "Leave Group" at the bottom.

Recording & Sharing Videos

Q: How long can my videos be?

A: Videos can be up to 60 seconds long.


Q: Can I add photos instead of videos?

A: Yes! When recording, you can choose to take a photo or record a video using the image picker.

Q: How do I add a caption?

A: After recording, you'll be taken to the Post Details screen where you can add a caption before submitting to groups.

Q: Can I submit the same video to multiple groups?

A: Yes! Select multiple groups on the Post Details screen before submitting.

Q: Why can't I submit to a group I'm in?

A: You can only submit one video per day to each group. If you've already submitted today, it will show "Already submitted today."

Viewing Content

Q: What is a "stitch"?

A: A stitch is a daily compilation of all videos submitted by group members. Each day gets its own stitch.

Q: How do I react to videos?

A: Long-press anywhere on a video to drop an emoji pin at that moment. You can add a comment with your pin too!

Q: Can I delete my pins?

A: Yes, tap any pin you created to see options, including delete.

Q: How do I hide pins on a video?

A: Tap the pin counter in the top-left corner of a video to toggle pin visibility.

Privacy & Security


Q: Who can see my videos?

A: Only members of the groups you submitted to can see your videos. Videos are private by default.

Q: What are public groups?

A: Public groups can be discovered by anyone, but you still need to join to see content. Private groups are invite-only.

Q: Can I delete a video after posting?

A: Currently, videos cannot be deleted after submission. Please contact support if you need a video removed.

Q: How do I delete my account?

A: Contact us at stitches@monicaquigg.com to request account deletion. We'll delete all your data within 30 days.


Technical Issues


Q: The app says "No internet connection" but I'm connected

A: Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, check your device's internet connection and try again.

Q: Videos aren't loading or playing

A:

- Check your internet connection

- Try closing and reopening the app

- Make sure you're running the latest version of Stitches

- If the problem continues, contact support


Q: I can't record videos

A: Make sure you've granted camera and microphone permissions:

1. Go to iPhone Settings

2. Scroll to Stitches

3. Enable Camera and Microphone access


Q: The app crashed or froze

A:

- Force quit the app and reopen it

- Make sure you're running the latest iOS version

- If it continues, contact support with details

Account Management


Change Email or Password

You can change your password and your email address in the profile section


Export Your Data

You can download individual media from the Library section.

Delete Your Account

In the profile section of the app, you can delete your account, and all media associated with the account will be removed.

This can not be undone.
